Meet our Team
Rose Prout
FOUNDER
Accredited Exercise Physiologist, AEP, AES, ESSAMDiploma in Pilates (Contemporary Pilates Method, tensegrity training)Athletics CoachSay hi to Rose – the founder of Centric Movement. Rose is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Pilates Instructor. She has been in the industry for over 20 years; even doing a stint over in London, working as a full-time Pilates teacher for 3 years.
Born and raised in Gilgandra NSW, she is a local to our area. Rose started Centric Movement in 2018, shortly after the birth of her first child. At the time, Rose was returning to the workforce and deciding whether to go back to her previous employer or start her own business. The time off meant that Rose needed to rebuild her client base – what better way to do this than jumping headfirst into business life!
After initially passing off the Darling Street location, Rose reconsidered. It has good bones and so much potential. Rose set to work – discovered the floorboards under the carpet, removed the blinds, lifted the ceiling, replaced the lights and suddenly Centric Movement was ready. In 2021, they cut through the brick wall and took over another room for Exercise Physiology.
Rose loves her clientele. She finds her work super rewarding – getting individuals moving who haven’t previously been exercising. Rose appreciates the fact that Centric Movement is the client's preferred health facility in a city spoiled for choice.
Rose prides herself on offering an intimate, movement-based centre that incorporates contemporary style Pilates. She believes in how her staff teach – so much so that in 2024 Rose is stepping into Exercise Physiology on a more full-time basis.
When Rose isn’t at the clinic, she is busy with Dubbo Athletics Club. She is a home body and loves spending time with her husband and two girls.
Special Interest Areas: Injury rehabilitation, Movement/Run Assessments, Injury prevention programming.

Sarah Dunlop
Group Reformer Pilates Instructor and Fitness Instructor
Meet Sarah, our Reformer Instructor here at Centric Movement. Sarah commenced with us in 2022 – previously she had a personal training business tailored to new and expecting mum’s. COVID, lockdowns and the birth of Sarah’s fourth child meant a pause in clients, and it was then that she found Centric Movement.
Sarah started off observing classes and teaching with us casually until she became familiar with our clients. Now, her classes are becoming a favourite on the timetable so you’re best to book in!
Sarah loves the smaller class sizes here; her clients come as strangers and leave as friends. She believes our Reformer classes are exactly what they should be like – focusing on breath connection and individuals becoming aware of their bodies. You can find Sarah here Mondays and Wednesdays – tailoring her approach to each client’s movement requirements.
Sarah is now a mum to four beautiful children. Spare time is not something Sarah is familiar with but when she’s not at work, she spends her time with her family.
We love having Sarah as part of our team and can’t wait to see her continual growth over the next little bit!
Specialise Interests: Teen Pilates, Pregnancy and Womens Health
